GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE
Be part of the project and give back to our planet
It is said that, over its lifecycle, the average NFT will accrue a stunning footprint of 211 kilograms of CO2, equivalent to driving 513 miles in a typical US gasoline-powered car. Since several NFTs have been minted in the last month by QRt Codes, the "GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE" project has been lauched in order to offer to the NFT community a way to give back to our planet.

"GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE" has been the first NFT made by the NFT community. The main QR Code is made up of 231 tiny QR Codes, each one showing a different message sent by the participants of this charity project.

Participation has been completely free and it helped our Earth for real.
Once the 231 QR Codes were collected, the final artwork has been created: a unique final QR code showing the message "GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE".

The final artwork has been minted as a NFT and sell through an auction on "Opensea", one of the main NFT marketplace. You can find the final artwork at the following link: https://bit.ly/2U0phzG

THE ENTIRE PROFIT HAS BEEN DONATED TO TREEDOM
After an initial scouting, 4 organizations have been identified for the project: Greenpeace, Sierra Club, Treedom and Earth Day Network. On the 27th of April, all the participants to the project up until that day have voted to choose the organization that should receive the donation. You can find the poll at this link.

The final NFT sold for 0.105 ETH and the entire proceds (150.66€) have been donated to Treedom on the 21st of June, buying a total of six trees on their marketplace and managing to absorb a total of 3405 kg of CO2.

The goal to "GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE" has been fulfilled.
